Bodhananda Vedic



The  Bodhananda Vedic Institute (BVI) is located in a serene 32-acre woodland parcel belonging to The Sambodh Society, Inc., which also houses its national headquarters, the Sambodh Center for Human Excellence (SCHE) ashram. Built in 2007, SCHE is a modern, air-conditioned and disability-accessible building. Institute classroom occupies a space of approximately 696 sq. ft. on the lower walkout level of The Sambodh Society, Inc. facility. 

Students will have access to other areas of the 5,999 sq. ft. building. These include upper level entrance, library and study; a Sanctuary for meditation, refreshment room (no food service), the administrative office, and the public lavatories located on both floors.

All applicants must hold and show proof of a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Prospective students must submit a written application along with their transcripts from the most recent educational institution they attended. All applicants must demonstrate fluency in verbal and written English. Applicants will be interviewed as a part of the selection process. International students are advised that insufficient English skills may prohibit successful completion of the Program.


Throughout the academic year weekend courses are held on Saturdays and Sundays, either via webinar, or on campus, with a monthly conference session held prior to the the next weekend course. Those who successfully complete the requirements for the full Program of Study will be awarded a "Level 1 Ayurvedic Health Consultant" Certificate.
