“One who is established in Self, whose Dosha and Agni are balanced,
and who has properly formed Dhatus, along with proper elimination of Malas
and well-functioning bodily processes, with their senses, mind and soul full of bliss,
is called a Healthy Person.”

"This program was an excellent place to start my journey into Ayurveda.
As a nurse and a yoga teacher, the knowledge I have gained in this program
will be invaluable to both nursing and yoga. The instructors were all fabulous,
and having a mix of traditional Vaidya (doctors) and western practitioners
made the information presented rich and multifaceted. I feel confident in going ahead
in my own personal practice of being an Ayurvedic Health Consultant
thanks to this program and the amazing faculty."
A Brief Word About Ayurveda
Ayurveda means “the science of life” and is based upon India’s timeless scriptures, known collectively as the Vedas. The body of Ayurvedic knowledge was handed down from generation to generation for over 5,000 years. Its written form, the Charaka Samhita, appeared in the first century A.D. Ayurveda offers its students the perennial Vedic wisdom and practical knowledge that enables its practitioners to establish an integrated lifestyle that nurtures and balances the body-mind and spirit. Ayurveda teaches us how to modulate our physical being, subtle mind, and the intellect, both to enhance life and to fulfill its ultimate purpose.
